SAVING OUR PLANET

The topic of recycling is very important in this moment, because the pollution affects us all. For the same reason is essential know to what is recycling and how we can help.

Carbon footprint is "the total set of greenhouse gas(GHG) emissions caused by an organization, event, product or person.”

I don’t know what my carbon footprint is, but the average carbon footprint of a person is a one ton of carbon per person per year.

The recycling also helps to save the energy or pollution. For example Recycling just one aluminum can saves enough energy to run your TV for 3 hours, or recycling just 2 glass bottles saves enough energy to boil 5 cups of tea.

Because I like this video because it causes the greatest impact and help create environmental awareness.

photograph that I like

I love the photography, in fact someday I would like to take a course in photography.

I admire many phtographers of differents styles like Robert Doisneau, Steve McCurry, Frans Lanting, Tomás Munita (chilean photographer), and more.

But one, that I love for his pictures is Brassaï. He was a hungarian photographer in the early 20st century knowing for his works in Paris. In his photos capture the essence of the city and its beauty on the one hand, and on the other the sordid (my favorite side), taken photos of social life, intellectuals and artists of the city in bars, dance halls, brothels, streets and other popular sites.

He was characterized for the dark of his photos, for represent the night life.

The picture that I show in this blog was taken by Brassaï in 1932. This is called “La mome Bijou” and you can see a woman sitting a bar called “Bar de la Lune” with many jewels on top, that is why it is called that way : bijou means jewel in english.

I dont know really why I like so much this picture, but she has something special, seems she had lived many things in him life, like she had many stories to tell.

Him look is very striking and unusual for me, maybe that's why she caught my attention.

Wahtever, in taste there is nothing written.

Movies!

I really love the cine. I like watch movies in the cine or in the comfort of my home when I have not money, that usually happens.
When I was child, it was common for my family we were to rent a movie every weekend. Now with all  tecnology and internet, peple do not need to rent movies, now is much better download from the internet or watch online, because it is more comfortable and cheaper.

But, we must accept, there is nothing like watching movies in cinema.
Tha last movie that I saw in the cinema is called Tangled, and i went with my family

I have not favorite movie, I really like many films, but I highlight a movie: “Casablanca”
I saw this films the last year with my little sister, and we love it.
Casablanca is a classic movie (black and white film), this is about the romantic drama during World war II in the moroccan city Casablanca, where the come the refugees desperately seeking to reach the United Sates. Is there where two old lover are see again (Rick and Lisa). Here begins the drama, and ends in an unexpected ending.
This film is really fantastic, because it does not end as one might expect, and also the music, with the famus song “As time goes by” and the interpretations of the actors is great.

I recomended above all this film. And I think this movie is a film you should see some time in the life.

TRAVEL AND HOLIDAYS

The best thing of the year is when coming the holidays.
I like this moment because I`m can rest and travel. I usually spend my holidays in Valparaiso, where my mother born. In this place live my grandfather and he waits for us. Usually go all my big family: my parents, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins. Always we get together in January, and february I travel with my family to somewhere in Chile, and then just me and my friends
The last holidays I travel for the north of Chile with my family and I know many beautiful places. Sadly this year my plans for travel with my friends it was canceled. But I pretend resume my plans for the next holidays and travel to Peru and Bolivia. But, then again, if this was not possible. I would travel for the south of Chile and Argentina.
In my last travels I spent my holidays abroad, in Argentina and Perú, both are magnificent places, and I would like go back there.
But where I really wanted to go one day is a Middle East and India. I think that this places are really amazing, and I consider very intersting their culture, their history and I would like to see the beautiful landscape.

My free time

The last time I don’t have enough free time that I would like, because the University spends much time.

The time that I dedicated the study is changing according to the tests in the week. My hours are not constant. But, when I have free time I make the most see my friends, I go to a party, listen to music or watch a movie. Sometimes, when I have much time, I’m like go to theatre to see opera or ballet.

When I was child, I practiced different sport like gymnastic, cheerleaders and athletics; unfortunately, with the passage of time, I’m to turn a sedentary. But I would comeback with an active life, I would try too to learn play a musical instrument and read the books that I like read.

The next weekend I’m going to study to the university test, or I try, and I’m will probably go to a party with my friends.

I don’t feel that I have a good use of my time. Actually, there many things that I would like to do. I suppose that a good hours and good use of my free time, I can do what I do. Is just to know how well organized.
